Mani Ratnam, one of the highly respected directors of Indian Cinema and Mahesh Babu, the Prince of Tollywood are going to team up for a big flick. Prince Mahesh has confirmed the same through the social networking site twitter.
He tweeted “Now 4 sum big news..met mani sir this morning..yes,d legendary mani rathnam..” and added “my dream is comin true finally..I will be working in a mani rathnam film.1of d happiest days of my life:)”
Though many of Mani Ratnam’s films are made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi together, they either had Tamil or Hindi heroes. The only film he made with a Telugu hero was ‘Geetanjali’ with King Nagarjuna. And now, after a very long time, he is all set to do another film with a Telugu hero.
Also to remind, he had announced that that he would be doing a direct Telugu film soon at the ‘Raavan’ (Telugu) audio release function. Now, that is going to shape up.
More details about his big project are yet to be known.
