Dell to Roll Out Inspirion DUO, a Hybrid Netbook/Tablet





Dell has revealed a hybrid netbook/tablet that is known as Inspirion DUO at the Intel Developer Forum 2010 which is held in San Francisco. The hybrid Dell Inspiron DUO tablet is equipped with a 10.1-inch screen that you can turn into a touchscreen tablet. The device integrates the Intel Atom N500 series microprocessor. It is based on Windows 7  Premium. It is expected that the hybrid netbook/tablet will be available later this year.






As the display is attached to a frame, you are able to flip it inwards as well as outwards. It is still unknown whether the display is supportive to multitouch.
The Dell Inspiron Duo integrates a 1.5GHz dual-core Intel Atom N550 processor and is based on Windows 7 Premium OS. The device offers 2GB of memory as well as 160GB or 250GB HDD for storage.
