Google Inc's YouTube is in discussions with major cellphone operators and handset makers on a deal to help unclog telecommunications networks, Bloomberg reported on Wednesday.
YouTube did not name any operator or handset maker, but acknowledged that it was in the middle of the process, Bloomberg said, citing an interview with Andrey Doronichev, an executive in charge of the video-streaming site's mobile version.
A representative for Google was not immediately available for comment.
